S.T.E.M. Day & $5 Thursday

From mechanics, to flight control, to piloting…STEM is the foundation of aviation. Guests will explore STEM demos, hands-on activities, the fundamentals of flight and much more during this #PlaneAwesome day all about STEM!

• All Day – U.S. Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin on display! Get up close to this amazing helo that’s used for medical, search and rescue missions!
• 11:30 a.m. – Me-262 Hangar Talk – Learn more about the world’s first jet aircraft with WWII Veteran & LSFM Volunteer, Bob Wehnert along with LSFM Volunteer, Gary Watt
• 1:30 p.m. – Tuskegee Airmen – Hear how these men paved the way for integration in the U.S. military
