Our collection of warbirds represents the heritage of the American people that fought to protect the rights outlined in the Constitution. Meet veterans that fought for those rights and hear their stories, discuss how history is depicted in music of wartime eras, learn about local historic places and the events that happened there, and investigate the meaning of the Declaration of Independence and its importance to you and your family.
Price: $65 for Non-Members. Members save $15!
Requirements fulfilled: Completed in class: 1, 2a&c, 3a-c, 4a-b, 5c, and 6. Requirement 3c will need dome family discussion before class. Req.3c – Research your family’s history. Find out how various events and situations in American history affected your family. If your family immigrated to America, tell the reasons why. Share what you find with your counselor.
Workshops are subject to reschedule or cancellation.
About Scout Merit Badges:
- All supplies are provided at the workshop.
- All youth must be escorted to the classroom by an adult and signed in.
- Adults who wish to stay on site must purchase admission to tour the museum during the class time.
