CAMP DESCRIPTION – GIRLS IN AVIATION – For 10-12 Olds • August 1-5
Girls in Aviation (GIA) is a new and exciting camp that focuses on girls (and boys) ages 10-12 and offers an
immersive aviation experience and illustrates the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math
(STEM), with the goal to inspire the next generation of young people in aviation and STEM focused
professions. The 4-day camp concludes with a Night at the Museum where the girls will spend the night at the
museum under the wings of historic aircraft. All graciously underwritten by Cher & John Floyd
Overnight Stay:
Fri., Aug. 5, 6 p.m. – Sat., Aug. 6, 8 a.m.)
• Check in begins at 5:30 p.m.
• Staff and chaperones will manage and stay with all campers.
• Parents may participate in the overnight for $50 per parent.
