Fundamentals of Flight: What makes an airplane fly? Girls explore the core principles of lift, weight, thrust, and drag while building a foundational understanding of how aircraft move through the air.
Explore a different aspect of flight fundamentals in each workshop by combining STEM theory with introductory piloting techniques through simulated flights. Girls gain insight into how science, technology, engineering, and math power real-world aviation while building confidence and awareness of careers in aerospace, empowering the next generation of female pilots, engineers, and aviation leaders.

Girls are encouraged to participate in all six lessons to build a comprehensive understanding of flight fundamentals and progressively develop their piloting knowledge and skills. Participants who attend all sessions will be recognized at the conclusion of the series with a special aviation-themed swag bag.
