This Spring Break, celebrate creativity and a little friendly competition at Paper Airplane Day!
Build and test your own paper airplanes, put your design to the test in a friendly contest, create your own pilot hat, and test your hand at coding our mini rovers!
Here’s a rundown of the day:
- 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Public Flight Bay Simulators – Take the captain’s seat and experience the adventure of flight on our state-of-the-art flight simulators.
- 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Paper Airplane Tables- Put your engineering skills to the test and make your own paper airplane. If you’re looking for a challenge, join in our paper airplane contest from 1 pm – 3 pm.
- 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Make and Take! Pilot Hat – Take home a pilot hat kit to continue the aviation adventure long after your visit
- 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Show Me the Mooney – Step into the role of a pilot as you perform a pre-flight check on our Mooney Ovation airplane and enjoy an up-close look at a real aircraft.
- 2:30 am – 3:30 pm: STEMonstration – Space Coding – Test your coding skills with our Space Coding Rover and guide mini rovers on their mission
