Pilot Maker I – Primary Training Summer Camp
9 a.m. – 2 p.m. with after camp care available
For ages 10 – 12
The T-6 Texan was called the “Pilot Maker” because it was the last training plane young pilots flew before taking on the WWII Warbird fighters and bombers. Follow beginner flight school training as you learn the science that a pilot needs to know, how physics is used to control the aircraft, and the mechanics inside the planes. Each day, practice your new piloting skills on our flight simulators as you advance through a series of training missions. After completing your primary training, test your flying skills in a warbird dogfight at the end of the week. More details and registration at https://lonestarflight.org/learn/camps/
