Rhonda Parmer, Ed.D.

Dr. Rhonda Parmer is a native Houstonian who has been intrigued by the wonders of flight since her first visit to the airport at age five. She visited the cockpit of the plane that brought her dad home from working in Egypt. Although she never piloted an aircraft as a licensed pilot, she enjoyed a few flying lessons. She attends many airshows annually and gets in the skies as often as possible.

Her path led to the education sector, and after 31 years of dedicated service in public schools, she now serves as a seasoned consultant. She has led schools through the change process and helped leaders create a culture conducive to collaboration, ultimately increasing student achievement.

Dr. Parmer was honored as The Texas Elementary National Distinguished Principal during her tenure at Pasadena ISD, where her school consistently ranked among the top 10 in the state. Her commitment to education extends beyond her professional life, as she serves as a member of The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, a Pasadena Rotary Past President, a University of Houston Alumni Lifetime Member, and a Worldwide Women’s Association member.

Dr. Parmer earned her bachelor’s degree at the prestigious University of Houston and her master’s and doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.
