Airplane Hangars

The Heritage and Waltrip Hangars

The Heritage and Waltrip Hangars house our aircraft collection in a total of 60,000 air-conditioned square feet of space. Along the hangar walls are our larger-than-life displays that feature photos, video and stories highlighting Texas aviation history.

Get up close to warbirds, dive-bombers, fighter jets, drones and more. Continue to check for special events that include airplane tours, peeks into the cockpit and other activities. These aircraft are also the center of our field trips, summer camps and other educational programs.
