Ralph B. Thomas

Ralph B. Thomas is a senior vice president, portfolio manager and member of the Investment Committee at Fayez Sarofim & Co., which currently manages approximately $29 billion in assets. Clients of the firm include corporate pension plans, endowments, foundations and individuals.

Mr. Thomas attended University of Texas, where he received a B.B.A. in Finance. He went on to attain his M.B.A. in 1968 from the University of Texas. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Investment Counselor.

He is a member and past secretary of the Houston Society of Financial Analysts, past president of the University of Texas Graduate Business School Club of Houston, a member of the Texas Longhorn Education Foundation, on the board of directors for the University of Texas System Chancellor’s Council, on the board of directors for McDonald Observatory & Astronomy, past chairman of the University of Texas College of Business Administration Foundation Advisory Council, member of the board of directors and past chairman of the Development board for the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston, and appointed to the Texas World Trade Council.
