It’s a STEM-tastic opportunity to have a fun day with family or friends and become a MAKER! Participants will learn the basics of a science and get to work crafting your own Maker project!
Workshop Fee: $12 for nonmembers and $10 for members; does not include museum admission ticket.
Members receive free museum admission; all others must purchase museum admission.
Register in advance online below or in person at admissions.
- Appropriate for all ages! Great family time!
- All supplies are provided at the workshop.
- All who attend must pay for the workshop; even if not actively participating.
- Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. For ages 11-15, an adult must sign in and sign out the youth.
- Workshops last approximately 45 -60 minutes.

Maker! Everard Calthrop
Make your own parachute and learn about the invention and advancements in ejection seats

Maker! electrical flight control system (efcs)
Make your own EFCS using Paper Circuits to a paper airplane and learn about how the signal would reach the ailerons, rudder, and elevators and what would happen if that connection was broken.
