Your Support helps lsfm soar!

The Lone Star Flight Museum is a 501(c)(3) aviation museum and STEM learning center with a mission to preserve, educate, and inspire. With your donation, you support the aircraft collection, exhibits, facilities, and educational programs that make the Lone Star Flight Museum a multigenerational museum experience.

Through the support of hundreds of community donors, the Lone Star Flight Museum continues to welcome more than 100,000 visitors to the museum, including over 20,000 students who experience immersive STEM education. And our numbers keep growing! We regularly showcase dozens of rare and historic aircraft and original and traveling exhibitions. Donors also support public events, high-profile guest speakers, and a growing roster of youth education programs. The Texas Aviation Hall of Fame’s continued success is also made possible by the philanthropic community that believes in celebrating Texas aviation. We invite you to join our effort to celebrate American ingenuity, Texas aviation and our country’s veterans while inspiring the next generation of STEM and aerospace leaders.

Your support helps to continue our mission to share the wonder of flight with the entire community.

Inspire

As visitors immerse themselves in the hands-on exhibits in the museum’s Flight Academy and in our Aviation Learning Center, the magic of flight will inspire current and future generations of scientists, engineers, pilots, and mechanics.

Educate

We are expanding our educational footprint to serve visitors of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds.  Emphasizing the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), the museum’s vision is to be a world class interactive educational cornerstone for aviation history and STEM education.

Preserve

An appreciation of history is gained from the Heritage Gallery and a glimpse of the Heroes, Explorers, Trailblazers and Entrepreneurs in the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame which honors the rich aviation heritage of our State.  This is equal only to the grandeur of experiencing our extensive collection of aviation artifacts and beautifully restored, award-winning flying aircraft.

Your contribution ensures the preservation of our past while unlocking future opportunities for generations of students now and to come.
