AVIATION LEGEND & RECORD HOLDER
Bruce Bohannon was one of the most recognizable faces biggest personalities in modern aviation. Having set 35 Aviation World Records, Bruce pushed the limits of general aviation aircraft, blazed a trail captured the attention of the press and the imagination of pilots worldwide.
He is the only American pilot ever awarded the prestigious “Louis Bleriot Medal” by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale three years in a row from 2001 to 2003. He went on to own and operate Flyin’ Tiger Flying School in Angleton, Texas inspiring pilots of all ages. Bruce was inducted into the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame in 2022 and his famous Exxon Flyin’ Tiger is on display here at the museum.
