Jennifer Duffer
Innovative Learning Specialist

Jennifer’s passion for aviation, STEM, and education has shaped an impactful career dedicated to inspiring both students and educators. With over 15 years of experience in K-12 education, she began as a first-grade teacher before moving into junior high and later becoming an Engineering & Robotics teacher at Montgomery High School. There, she launched the groundbreaking Aerospace Engineering & Bear Force Airplane Build Program, where students built and flew three Van’s RV-12 aircraft. This hands-on initiative not only provided technical training and real-world experience, but also helped Jennifer achieve a personal milestone, earning her Private Pilot License. Today, she shares her love of aviation by taking students on experience flights in the very planes they helped construct.
Now serving as an Innovative Learning Specialist in Montgomery ISD, Jennifer supports educators across ten campuses, helping them integrate technology and project-based learning into their classrooms. A lifelong space enthusiast, she’s attended and led sessions at the Space Exploration Educators Conference (SEEC), participated in Space Camp programs, and serves as a Space Foundation Teacher Liaison. Jennifer’s work exemplifies the museum’s mission to promote aviation and STEM education, equipping the next generation of innovators and aviators to reach new heights.
