Enjoy a day full of museum fun for homeschool students!
Engage in activities at your own pace for your grade level.
Activities Include:
- Activities & Programs
- 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Flight Training Program (Grades 5-12) includes Learning Lab Flight Fundamentals Experiments, Pre-Flight Safety Check Activity, and Flight Simulators
- 10:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Channel your creativity and design & engineering skills with various Maker! workshops built for grade level skills.
- 10:30 a.m. – Drone Zone, Fly a real drone in a guided, hands-on experience
- 11:00 a.m. – Fly High Story Time (Pre-K) in the Boeing Toddler Terminal
- 11:00 a.m. – Dreamers Presentation (Grades K-5) and Plane of the Month Walk Around
- 11:30 a.m. – Aviation Alphabet (Pre-K) in the Boeing Toddler Terminal
- 11:30 a.m. – Learn about the Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII (WASP) (All Ages)
- 12:00 p.m. – Fly High Story Time (Pre-K) in the Boeing Toddler Terminal
- All Day:
- Guided Museum Hangar Tour with Third Person Interpreter (All Grades)
- Aircraft Engine STEM Carts and Air Marshalling
- Take a ride on MAXFLIGHT (must be at least 48″ tall. Additional charge applies.)
- Pack a lunch or buy drinks, snacks, and lunch from our Minuti Coffee Cafe. Lunch space is available.
New! Homeschool stem flights
Explore a different aspect of flight fundamentals in each workshop by combining STEM theory and introductory piloting techniques in simulated flights

- $8 per student and $10 per adult
- Minimum of 10 students

Aviation Learning Center (Grades 5-12)
- A guided tour through two hangars of historic planes
- Hands-On Flight Academy exhibits
- Aviation Learning Center pre-flight aircraft inspection and pilot a flight simulator (Grades 5-9)
- Learning Lab STEM Fundamentals of Flight (Grades 7-12)
- $12 per student and $10 per adult
- Minimum of 10 students

Classroom Lessons
- Classes taught by a museum instructor dig deep into aviation historical events, the science of flight, and engineering. Due to the self-discovery and exploratory nature of the classes, a wide range of ages can participate allowing families to take classes together.
- $10 per student
- 2.5 hour field trip is a guided tour through our two aircraft hangars and the Flight Academy hands-on STEM exhibit.
- Minimum group size: 20 students
- Maximum group size: 80 students

- Reservation requests must be made no later than 3 weeks prior to visit.
- A single payment for the entire group is due no less than 2 weeks before the visit.

Registrations/Tickets are not refundable, transferable, exchangeable, or applicable to future dates or other programs/events. Registrations/Tickets cannot be discounted after purchase. Programs/events are subject to cancellation or change. In such cases a program/event is cancelled or changed, registration/tickets will be rescheduled to another valid program/event within 60 days of the original program/event date.
