Leaders in space exploration often start their careers as pilots, serve in the military, and all of them have STEM-based backgrounds. LSFM celebrates air and space aviation during this summer’s NASA Day!

  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.- Robotics in the Hangars – Play games with a robot! The Robonauts and CHIPS robot building teams will be onsite showcasing their award-winning creations.
  • 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Rover Tours – Climb inside a future concept for planetary exploration.
  • 10 a.m. – noon – LSFM Aircraft Flying – See our warbirds take to the skies.
  • 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Eggstronaut Drop – Showcase your egg-cellent engineering skills and create a crack-proof capsule for a fragile passenger. Drops take place every 30 minutes!
  • 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. – Space Shuttle Simulator Hangar Talk – Learn about our newest permanent display, the original simulator that all Space Shuttle crews trained on
  • 11 a.m – 3 p.m. – Free Flight Simulators – Test your pilot skills in our Aviation Learning Center.

All experiences are included in general admission and FREE for members.
