Group Visits

Are you a daycare, church group, JROTC group, senior group, non-profit organization, youth group, social club, scouts, or a family?  If there are 10 or more of you in a group, you can book at the group rate!  See details below.

  • Adult (Age 18-64) – $12.00
  • Youth (Age 5-17) – $8.00
  • Senior (65+) – $10.00
  • Child (4 and under) – FREE
  • Group bookings are categorized as a group of 10 or more and includes daycares, church groups, JROTC groups, senior groups, non-profit organizations, youth groups, social clubs, scouts, and family groups.
  • To receive a group rate, a single payment must be made for the entire group. Individual ticket payments will not be accepted at the group rate.
  • Group reservations must be booked no less than 3 weeks in advance of the arrival date with a 10% deposit, and full payment with final count is due no less than 2 weeks in advance.  No refunds or adjustments will be made for reduction in numbers less than 2 weeks in advance of the visit.
  • Reservations may include a guided tour if a guide is available, and a guided tour request must be made at the time of the booking.
  • Reservations are confirmed when payments are complete. No exceptions.
  • Payment may be made by check, credit card or cash – via phone, mail, or in person during operating hours. Purchase orders are not accepted.
  • In cases of inclement or emergency weather conditions, reservations may be rescheduled.
  • Cancellations made more than 2 weeks in advance of arrival date will receive a refund. If less than 2 weeks, a reservation may be rescheduled or will forfeit the deposit.  No-Shows forfeit the payment in full and will not be rescheduled.
  • Programs, workshops, and classes may be added to the reservation for additional fees. Please speak to the Reservation Coordinator for details.
  • Lunch space is not guaranteed.  It may be accommodated if space is available. Groups requesting lunch space for more than 25 people must rent a lunch space for a fee, if a space is available.
  • To Pre-Order boxed lunches from our in-house Minuti Cafe, indicate on the request form below.  Minuti Cafe is not available as a dining location for groups.
  • All reservations are subject to availability. 
  • Walk up groups may be accommodated at a group rate if the group is more than 10 people Ages 5+.  Walk up groups must make one payment to receive the group rate. Individuals cannot receive the group rate.  Walk up groups do not have an opportunity for a guided tour or access to the Aviation Learning Center; and they cannot request lunch space. 
  • Policies and pricing are subject to change without notice. 
  • Registrations/Tickets for museum programs/events are valid only for the specified program/event on the specified date(s) of the purchase program/event. Registrations/Tickets are not refundable, transferable, exchangeable, or applicable to future dates or other programs/events.  Registrations/Tickets cannot be discounted after purchase. Programs/events are subject to cancellation or change. In such cases a program/event is cancelled or changed, registration/tickets will be rescheduled to another valid program/event within 60 days of the original program/event date.
  • DOCENT TOUR – Explore with docent lead tours at no additional charge.  The tour highlights key artifacts in our collections. Tours last approximately 30 minutes and may be customized to fit the size and needs of your group. Tours are subject to availability. Tours outside operating hours may be accommodated based upon volunteer availability and will incur an additional fee.
  • SELF GUIDED TOUR – Explore as a group on your own at your own pace. Youth/Students on a self-guided tour must remain with chaperones/adults at all times.
  • AVIATION LEARNING CENTER– For an additional fee, book the Aviation Learning Center (ALC).  Our premier educational aviation experience combines the fundamental science of flight with the fun of being a pilot.
  • SENIORS – For an additional fee, upgrade your tour with our Lift Off and Learn experience, which includes a brief “Origin of Flight” presentation and hands-on STEAM activity, or enjoy a private flight simulator session paired with hot coffee service as part of our Crosswinds and Coffee offering.

Field Trip packages are available for schools during the academic year.  

Schools or education mission-based organizations (Grades K-12) with summer learning programs may request a field trip, which is subject to availability. 

Youth organizations/clubs, scout groups, and Pre-K Day Care agencies request a group visit instead of a field trip.

Thursday, October 9, 2025 for private event preparation. The Waltrip Hangar and all other exhibits will remain open. Enjoy discounted admission all day!

Please note: The museum will be closed Friday, October 10 for the private event. 

Regular museum hours will resume on Saturday, October 11 from 10am – 5pm.

Heritage Hangar Closure – Thursday, September 18 at 1pm.

The Waltrip Hangar and all other exhibits remain open. The Heritage Hangar will reopen Friday during regular museum hours.
