Story Time is Back!
Every Thursday at 10:30 a.m., join us for a story time featuring high-flying books available in our gift shop! Each week features an engaging book reading followed by family activities and museum access, all included in your $5 Thursday admission!
August 4 – WWII Vet, Ed Clarac Talk
Open to all guests, LSFM Curator, Eleanor Barton shares stories and history making moments of WWII B-17 pilot, Ed Clarac. Rare, personal items will also be on display, including a bomber jacket with visible shrapnel damage. Presentation Thursday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.
August 6 – Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition
Owls, hawks and other feathered friends will be in our hangars! Learn how birds influenced aircraft design and flight history, then make your own bird feeder to bring home! TWRC at LSFM Saturday, Aug. 6 from 11 a.m. – noon.
August 6 – Marshalling Class
Learn the signals that direct aircraft, then test your skills on our ramp. Marshalling Class takes place Saturday, Aug. 6 at 12:30 p.m.

Drones will be buzzing around our hangars! Visit with drone owners, see their unmanned ariel vehicles, checkout the ultimate drone – our MQ-1B Predator. Drone Zone is on Saturday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
August 13 – Children’s Docent Tour
A kids-geared Docent Tour through our hangars! See over two dozen aircraft ranging from WWII warbirds to unmanned drones! Children’s Docent Tour held Saturday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m.

See the F-16 Fighting Falcon visiting from 138th Fighter Wing! F-16 background includes service in Operations Desert Storm, Allied Force, Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
