‘Stache Winners Announced April 3

The Mustache March Challenge is a nod to United States Air Force Brigadier General Robin Olds, known for his trademark mustache. Olds was a “triple ace,” with 17 World War II and Vietnam War victories. His mustache was grown as a ‘friendly protest’ to the strict USAF facial hair regulations. It caught on among the airman and Mustache March was born. It is still a celebrated tradition in the USAF today. 

LSFM President and CEO is a retired 3-star Lt. General and will lead the Mustache March challenge and encourages everyone to participate. Prizes for the best mustaches include a ride in our PT-17 Stearman, tickets to Hangar Bash and more!
