Learn about how WWII soldiers got to enjoy ice cream and how aircraft were used to make it!
The famed Vought F4U Corsair was not only a fighter and a ground attacker. For some creative squadron pilots, it was a handy ice cream maker. Hear the fun and amazing story of these resourceful military servicemen that created a frosty treat while serving in WWII.
- 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Grab some cool recipes to make your own ice cream at home.
- 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Enjoy delicious ice cream at the museum. Free for members, $2 for non members.
- 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. – Presentation about Ice Cream & Aircraft during WWII
