Made In Texas: 116 Years of Texas Aviation History Exhibit

In honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary, the Lone Star Flight Museum is reflecting on Texas’s contributions to national and global aviation achievements through an exhibit entitled Made in Texas: 116 Years of Texas Aviation History.

This exhibition features photographs, designer flight attendant artifacts created through the years by renowned fashion designer Emilio Pucci, and aircraft from LSFM’s collection, celebrating the incredible people, planes, and companies that have affected aviation in the Lone Star State. 

This Exhibit is scheduled to open Fri., June 19, 2026

Cancelation Notice

Due to the expected inclement weather, out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of our partner pilots and their aircraft,
The Wings of Vietnam aircraft display set for Sat., May 23 has been canceled.
We will work to reschedule this event later this summer.
 
 All other museum activities will still occur on Saturday and throughout the weekend for visitors to enjoy.

The Heritage Hangar will be closed Thurs., Apr. 9, 2026 for set up. Visitors will receive $3 off admission.
 
We’ll reopen with normal hours on Sat., Apr. 11, 2026 from 10am – 5pm.

Thursday, October 9, 2025 for private event preparation. The Waltrip Hangar and all other exhibits will remain open. Enjoy discounted admission all day!

Please note: The museum will be closed Friday, October 10 for the private event. 

Regular museum hours will resume on Saturday, October 11 from 10am – 5pm.

Heritage Hangar Closure – Thursday, September 18 at 1pm.
