Come celebrate the role American women played in the WWII American victory. Learn about the inspiring story of Rosie the Riveter with hands-on activates and talks for all ages!
Dress like Rosie the Riveter and get $10 admission. Little Rosies and grown-up Rosies welcome!
Activities Include:
- 10:30-1:30pm: STEMonstrations– Rosie Button Making, photo op area, and a hands-on crafts!
- 11:00-11:30am: Rosie the Riveter Docent Lead Presentation in the orientation theater.
- 12:30-1:00 pm: Rosie the Riveter Book Reading in the Waltrip Hanger. Book: Rosie the Riveter, The Legacy of an American Icon by Sarah Dvojack.
- 1pm-2:00 pm: Show Me the Mooney-“Guess how many rivets the Mooney Ovation Has” contest. Fill out a submission slip with their guess and contact information and enter to win some Lone Star Flight Museum Swag.
