Tracie Carwile

Corporate Aviation Leader & Drone Pilot

Tracie Carwile is a global aviation leader and security expert. She is the vice president of global sales for GGT Worldwise where she brings more than two decades of experience in business aviation with a focus on leadership, safety and collaboration. She also serves as Executive Director of Women in Corporate Aviation, chairs NBAA’s Endeavor group and contributes to the NBAA Security Council.

As a passionate advocate for the next generation of aviation professionals, she supports future aviators through her role on the advisory board at Texas Southern University. She is dedicated to showing young women that there is a place for them in aviation and that their journey can be as unique as their ambitions.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tracie is a wife, mother and drone pilot.

Susanne Cross

Aircraft Safety Expert for United Airlines

Susanne Cross is the Hub Maintenance Controller, monitoring and coordinating maintenance activities for aircraft for United Airlines at Bush Intercontinental Airport.  A dedicated aviation professional with more than 30 years of experience, she served as a lead technician and earned her Airframe & Powerplant license.  She holds an Airworthiness Release authorization on every fleet type operated by United Airlines, reflecting her extensive technical expertise and commitment to safety.

Susanne has dedicated many years to encouraging young women to pursue aviation careers through Girls in Aviation Day and Women in Tech Ops.

Outside of work, Susanne is an avid sailor and scuba diver who travels the world, exploring beautiful blue waters.

Veronica Martinez

Spacesuit Engineer & Problem Solver

Veronica Martinez is a Project Engineer at ILC Dover Aerospace & Defense Solutions, where she began her career after earning a degree from the University of Houston. Initially, she contributed to the research and development of spacesuit components, helping advance technologies critical to astronaut safety and performance. She later supported the design and enhancement of gloves used by astronauts during spacewalks. Today, she leads projects and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and customers to help ensure astronauts can safely and effectively perform work in space.

A first-generation college graduate, Veronica was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and is passionate about giving back to her community. Throughout her journey, she has remained committed to service and mentorship.

Veronica lives in Houston with her husband, an airline pilot, and their two French bulldogs.

Captain Jennifer McNeill

Air Force Fighter Pilot & Mission Leader

Captain Jennifer “Brick” McNeill is a fighter pilot for the U.S. Air Force and the Chief of Mobility for the 389th Fighter Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, part of the 366th Fighter Wing. She commands the squadron’s mobility operations, ensuring the efficient movement and sustainment of personnel, equipment and supplies to support mission readiness. As a fighter pilot, she flies the F‑15E Strike Eagle, a multi‑role fighter capable of air superiority, offensive and defensive counter‑air and close air support.

Captain McNeill is a Clear Creek High School graduate where she excelled in advanced academic programs from an early age, including the Alpha program for elementary students and the WAVE program in high school. These experiences fostered the discipline, problem‑solving skills and competitive drive that she brings to her military career. She is also featured in a Clear Creek ISD campaign, highlighting her journey from high school to Air Force leadership with a goal to inspire youth.

Cancelation Notice

Due to the expected inclement weather, out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of our partner pilots and their aircraft,
The Wings of Vietnam aircraft display set for Sat., May 23 has been canceled.
We will work to reschedule this event later this summer.
 
 All other museum activities will still occur on Saturday and throughout the weekend for visitors to enjoy.
