The Lone Star Flight Museum is pleased to offer the following flight experiences. Pricing below is per person unless otherwise specified.
 
  • Boeing PT-17 Stearman: 20 min: $350 / 40 min: $500
  • Fairchild PT-19 Cornell: 20 min: $350 / 40 min: $500
  • Cessna T-41 Mescalero:  20 min: $300 / 40 min. $450   (Total includes 1 to 3 passengers, weight limitations for passengers apply (see FAQ)
  • North American T-6 Texan: 20 min:  $425 / 40 min:  $600
  • North American B-25 Mitchell: 20 min: $500  (Price per person – holds up to 5 passengers) 
  • North American B-25 Mitchell: Full Plane Buyout (5 passengers):  20 min – $2375 / 40 min – $3500
 
Total in-air flight time is 20-40 minutes depending on package chosen. Passengers must be at least 18 years of age for flights in the T-6, PT-17 or PT-19. Passengers who are 12-17 years old can fly in the B-25 or T-41 Mescalero if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Hangar Closure Notice

 

Our Heritage Hangar will be closed

Thursday, October 9, 2025 for private event preparation. The Waltrip Hangar and all other exhibits will remain open. Enjoy discounted admission all day!

Please note: The museum will be closed Friday, October 10 for the private event. 

Regular museum hours will resume on Saturday, October 11 from 10am – 5pm.

Heritage Hangar Closure – Thursday, September 18 at 1pm.

The Waltrip Hangar and all other exhibits remain open. The Heritage Hangar will reopen Friday during regular museum hours.
